Childcare Employment is a platform where Quebec childcare centres, daycares and other early childhood settings publish their own job postings. We are neither an employer nor a recruitment agency: we do not hire anyone, and we cannot provide a Labour Market Impact Assessment (LMIA).

Employers who post with us are looking for candidates who are already authorized to work in Canada. If you currently live abroad, the platform alone will not be able to secure you a position in Quebec.

That does not mean your plan is out of reach. It simply requires two official steps, independent of our platform.

1. Obtain authorization to work in Canada. The Immigration Quebec and Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada websites outline the various immigration programs and pathways to a work permit. Early childhood education is among the sectors facing a labour shortage, which may work in your favour.

2. Have your training recognized. If you hold an early childhood education diploma obtained outside Quebec, the Ministère de la Famille can assess it and issue a recognition of qualification. This step gives your background official standing with Quebec employers, and determines whether you are considered a qualified educator.

Once you are in Quebec and authorized to work, you are very welcome here: create your profile, upload your CV, and apply to the postings that interest you.

No. Your CV is only sent when YOU click Apply on a specific job. It is never exposed in a public search.

One credit per posting, valid for 30 days. Credits are sold in packs (the bigger the pack, the lower the per-posting cost). See the pricing page.

30 days from publication. You can deactivate or mark a posting as filled earlier from your dashboard.

In your platform inbox AND as an email to the address you configured. The notification includes the candidate's message + a link to their CV.

Yes, anytime. Editing doesn't consume a new credit and doesn't reset the expiration countdown.

GST + QST (Quebec) are added automatically at checkout based on your billing province. The Stripe receipt is your official invoice.
